Kenneth Mitchell, 83, died on Wednesday, May 2, 2018 at Parkwood hospital after a long and brave battle with cancer. He is survived by his wife and friend Veronica Mitchell; daughter Anne Reid and husband Gene; his son Andrew Mitchell and wife Jasna; grand children Julie and John Wiseman; step-grandchildren Leslie and Leana Novakovic as well as great grand daughter Myhiya. Ken will be fondly remembered for his innovation in urban gardening as well as his life long passion for model railroading. A private memorial service will be held for immediate family only. My heart goes out to Veronica, Anne and Andrew and all their families with the news of Ken’s passing. Ken was a large part of my life as a friend and mentor for many years. He will be missed by many and his passing will bring a smile to all those who knew him as he left a mark on many lives.
