Elisabeth Hoffmann

Passed away peacefully in the comfort of her home. Surrounded by her loving family, Elisabeth surrendered after a long courageous battle against cancer on Saturday, May 15, 2021, just one week after her 61st birthday. Cherished friend of Greg Penney. Beloved mother to sons Kyle Zehr, Chad and Drew Hoffmann. Dear daughter of Horst Guilhauman (Nancy) and Elisabeth Guilhauman. Fondly missed by sisters Theresa Cisecki (Rick Reinhart), Katharina Trautrim (Erwin), Magdalena Guilhauman (Guido), and brother Simon Guilhauman (Amy). She will be sadly missed by many nieces and nephews.

Elisabeth was born in Soltau, Germany and immigrated with her family to Canada as a young child in 1967. The family settled in the Kitchener/Waterloo, Ontario area until her departure in 1986 to Windsor, Ontario to study and receive a degree in law. She would eventually settle in London, Ontario where she excelled in Life Coaching and found pleasure in painting landscapes. She will be dearly missed by her family and friends.

The family has honoured Elisabeth’s wishes to be cremated and a celebration of her life is being planned for a later date. Arrangements entrusted with Cremation London & Middlesex, 519-858-2467. Online condolences shared at www.cremationlondon.com

  1. I was very saddened to read of Elisabeth’s passing. I had worked with her for a number of years at my law office and we became good friends. I had not spoken to her for more than a year and last week thought that I should attempt to contact her but, unfortunately did not. I will remember her pleasant personality, lovely smile and what a great person she was.
    My condolences to her family.

  2. A few years I had the good fortune of meeting Elisabeth during her visit to Nova Scotia. I enjoyed our numerous talks and her visits at my gallery. Lovely lady. My sincere condolences to Elisabeth’s family and friends.

  3. So sorry to hear this sad news. I first met Elisabeth in Windsor in 1986. She became a close friend to our family. Our deepest condolences go out to her family.

  4. Very sad news about Elisabeth. We met in law school and for a long time I viewed Elisabeth as a close friend. Even though we drifted apart in recent years I can’t help but be touched by this too early passing. My deepest sympathies to her family and friends who will be missing her extremely.

  5. To Mother of Elisabeth, I only now read about your daughter Elisabeth’s passing. I remember your daughter as a young girl. She was lovely, friendly and smart. Mein herzlichstes Beileid.
    Liebe Grüße, Elfriede
